NEW DELHI, OCTOBER 27: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the notification of SSC MTS on November 3, 2018. Along with the notification, the commission will release the application form of SSC MTS and announce the exam dates. Candidates can submit their applications till December 3, 2018.
SSC has made Aadhaar Card mandatory to fill SSC MTS application form. Candidates who does not have their Aadhaar Card have to enter the ID numbers of Voter Card/PAN/Passport/Driving License/School/College ID/Employer ID. The age limit for applying to SSC MTS 2018 exam is 18 to 25 years. The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories and by 3 years for those belonging to the OBC category.
Candidates will have to deposit the application fees while submitting their applications. The fee for general and OBC male candidates is Rs 100. All women and candidates belonging to SC, ST, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying the application fees.
SSC MTS exam comprises two papers. The Paper 1 is an objective type paper while Paper 2 is descriptive type.
SSC Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) exam is conducted for appointment of candidates to General Central Service Group 'C' Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices, in different States / Union Territories.
